FLUFFY HOMEMADE PANCAKES
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 3 ½ TSP BAKING POWDER
- 1 TBSP WHITE SUGAR
- ¼ TSP SALT
- 1 ¼ CUPS MILK
- 1 EGG
- 3 TBSP MELTED BUTTER
- (EXTRA BUTTER FOR COOKING)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. IN A LARGE BOWL, WHISK TOGETHER:
- FLOUR
- BAKING POWDER
- SUGAR
- SALT
2. ADD IN MILK, EGG, AND MELTED BUTTER.
MIX JUST UNTIL SMOOTH (DO NOT OVERMIX).
3. HEAT A NON-STICK PAN OR GRIDDLE OVER MEDIUM HEAT.
ADD A LITTLE BUTTER.
4. POUR BATTER (ABOUT ¼ CUP EACH) ONTO THE PAN.
COOK UNTIL BUBBLES FORM ON TOP, THEN FLIP.
5. COOK THE OTHER SIDE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
6. SERVE WARM WITH POWDERED SUGAR, SYRUP, OR FRUIT.
