COTTAGE CHEESE & POTATO BAKE


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cups cooked potatoes (sliced or mashed)
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or chives)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°F (190°C).

2. IN A LARGE BOWL, MIX:

  • Cottage cheese
  • Eggs
  • Milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper

3. ADD POTATOES.

Gently stir in the cooked potatoes.

4. POUR MIXTURE INTO A GREASED BAKING DISH.

5. TOP WITH SHREDDED CHEESE.

(Optional: Dot with butter for extra richness.)

6. BAKE FOR 30–40 MINUTES.

Bake until golden brown on top and firm in the center.

7. GARNISH WITH FRESH HERBS.

Let cool slightly before serving.
