MEAT & CHEESE ROLL BAKE

 










๐Ÿ“ INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 FLATBREAD OR PIZZA DOUGH SHEET
  • 250g GROUND MEAT (BEEF OR LAMB)
  • 1 SMALL ONION, CHOPPED
  • 1 GARLIC CLOVE, MINCED
  • 1 SMALL GREEN PEPPER, CHOPPED
  • SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
  • 1 TSP PAPRIKA OR CHILI FLAKES (OPTIONAL)
  • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED PARSLEY OR GREEN ONIONS
  • 1 CUP SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE
  • 1/2 CUP GRATED CHEESE (FOR TOPPING)
  • 2 TBSP OLIVE OIL OR MELTED BUTTER

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. COOK THE FILLING:
    IN A PAN, COOK MEAT, ONION, GARLIC, AND PEPPER.
    ADD SALT, PEPPER, AND SPICES.
    COOK UNTIL BROWNED. LET COOL.
    STIR IN CHOPPED PARSLEY OR GREEN ONIONS.

  2. ASSEMBLE THE ROLL:
    SPREAD FILLING ON FLATBREAD.
    ADD SHREDDED MOZZARELLA.
    ROLL TIGHTLY INTO A LOG.

  3. SLICE & PREPARE:
    CUT INTO 2 OR 3 PIECES.
    PLACE IN GREASED BAKING DISH.
    BRUSH WITH OLIVE OIL OR BUTTER.
    TOP WITH GRATED CHEESE.

  4. BAKE:
    PREHEAT OVEN TO 190°C (375°F).
    BAKE FOR 20–25 MINUTES
    UNTIL GOLDEN AND CHEESY ON TOP.
