SAUSAGE-STUFFED CROISSANT ROLLS
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Tube Crescent Roll Dough
- 1/2 lb (225g) Ground Sausage
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion (Optional)
- 1 Egg, Beaten (For Egg Wash)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. PREHEAT OVEN
- Preheat to 375°F (190°C)
2. COOK THE SAUSAGE
- In a skillet, cook sausage and onion (if using) until browned.
- Drain and let cool.
- Mix in cheese.
3. PREPARE THE DOUGH
- Unroll crescent dough into triangles.
- Add a spoonful of sausage mixture to the wide end of each triangle.
4. ROLL & BRUSH
- Roll into croissant shape.
- Place on baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash.
5. BAKE
- Bake for 12–15 minutes
- Until golden brown and puffed.
