SAUSAGE-STUFFED CROISSANT ROLLS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Tube Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1/2 lb (225g) Ground Sausage
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion (Optional)
  • 1 Egg, Beaten (For Egg Wash)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. PREHEAT OVEN

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C)

2. COOK THE SAUSAGE

  • In a skillet, cook sausage and onion (if using) until browned.
  • Drain and let cool.
  • Mix in cheese.

3. PREPARE THE DOUGH

  • Unroll crescent dough into triangles.
  • Add a spoonful of sausage mixture to the wide end of each triangle.

4. ROLL & BRUSH

  • Roll into croissant shape.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg wash.

5. BAKE

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes
  • Until golden brown and puffed.
