Garlic Shrimp

 






Here's a simple and delicious Garlic Shrimp recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the shrimp: Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook garlic: Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Cook shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
  4. Finish: Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, toss to coat, and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
  5. Serve: Great over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
