Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad

 







Here’s a delicious and easy Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pasta (elbow, rotini, or shells work well)
  • 1 can (5–6 oz) tuna in water, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or plain yogurt (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion or green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (thawed) or sweet corn
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking and cool it down.
  2. Mix the Dressing:

    • In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream or yogurt (if using), Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine:

    • Add the drained tuna, chopped celery, onions, peas/corn, and cooled pasta. Stir gently to coat everything in the creamy dressing.
  4. Chill:

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with parsley or dill if desired. Serve cold or at room temperature.
