Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small, boneless, skinless)
1 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the chicken – Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
2. Sear the chicken – Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the sauce – In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
4. Add cream & parmesan – Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Combine & serve – Return the chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over it, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
Serving Ideas:
Pair with zucchini noodles, cauliflower rice, or steamed veggies for a complete low-carb meal.
