Ooooh yes! ๐Ÿ˜✨ French Toast Roll-Ups are like sweet little breakfast cigars of happiness — crispy outside, gooey inside, and perfect for dipping! Whether you're filling them with cream cheese, Nutella, or fruity jam, these are brunch (or snack) goals. ๐Ÿž๐Ÿณ๐ŸŒญ๐Ÿฅž

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿž French Toast Roll-Ups

Ingredients:

  • 8–10 slices of soft white or brioche bread (crusts removed)
  • Filling of choice:
    • Cream cheese + strawberries
    • Nutella + banana slices
    • Jam or preserves
    • Peanut butter (or combo your faves!)
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp butter (for cooking)
For the cinnamon-sugar coating (optional but ๐Ÿ”ฅ):
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Flatten the bread:

    • Use a rolling pin or glass to flatten each bread slice.
  2. Add the filling:

    • Spread a thin layer of your chosen filling near one edge.
    • Don’t overfill — a little goes a long way.
  3. Roll ’em up:

    • Roll tightly from the filled edge like a little burrito.
    • Press gently to seal.
  4. Make the egg mixture:

    • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  5. Dip & cook:

    • Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture.
    • In a nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Cook roll-ups, turning until all sides are golden brown (about 6–8 minutes total).
  6. Finish with cinnamon sugar:

    • While warm, roll each one in the cinnamon-sugar mix (optional but heavenly).

Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with warm maple syrup, whipped cream, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
  • Great for dipping or even packing into a brunch box!
