🍎 Cinnamon Roll Apple “Lasagna”

Sweet, gooey, and perfect for dessert or brunch!

🍏 Ingredients:

  • 4 cups peeled, diced apples (≈ 4 medium apples)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine:
    • Apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and vanilla.
    • Cook on medium heat until apples are tender and sauce thickens (5–7 minutes).
  3. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters.
  4. In a greased 9x9 baking dish, layer:
    • Half of the cinnamon roll pieces,
    • Then half of the apple mixture.
  5. Repeat layers.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly.
  9. Drizzle with icing from cinnamon rolls and caramel sauce.
