HOMEMADE BLENDER ROLLS


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a blender, combine:
    Warm milk, sugar, oil (or butter), and yeast.
    Blend for 15–20 seconds.

  2. Let the mixture sit for 5–10 minutes
    until foamy (to activate the yeast).

  3. Pour into a large mixing bowl.

  4. Add flour and salt.
    Mix with a spoon or dough hook until a soft dough forms.

  5. Knead the dough
    for about 5–7 minutes (by hand or mixer).

  6. Cover and let rise
    for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

  7. Divide dough into 12–16 balls.
    Shape and place on a greased or lined baking tray.

  8. Let rise again for 20–30 minutes.

  9. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  10. Bake for 15–20 minutes
    or until the tops are golden brown.

  11. Let cool slightly. Serve warm or room temp.
