Twisted Veggie Cheese Puff Pastry

 










Ingredients:


1 sheet puff pastry (thawed) ๐ŸงŠ


1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) ๐Ÿง€


1/2 cup chopped bell peppers ๐ŸŒถ️


1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped ๐Ÿง…


1/4 cup corn or chopped spinach ๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿฅฌ


1 egg (for egg wash) ๐Ÿฅš


Salt & pepper to taste ๐Ÿง‚



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) ๐Ÿ”ฅ.



2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into wide strips ⬜.



3. On one half of each strip, layer cheese, veggies, salt, and pepper ๐Ÿง€๐ŸŒถ️.



4. Fold over the strip and give it a gentle twist ๐Ÿ”.



5. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper ๐Ÿ“„.



6. Brush with egg wash ๐Ÿฅš for that golden shine.



7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden and puffed ๐Ÿ•’✨.

Ham & Cheese Puff Braid ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿง€๐Ÿฅ


Ingredients:


1 sheet puff pastry ๐ŸงŠ


6 slices ham or cooked bacon ๐Ÿฅ“


1/2 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or mozzarella) ๐Ÿง€


1 egg (for egg wash) ๐Ÿฅš


Fresh parsley for garnish ๐ŸŒฟ



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) ๐Ÿ”ฅ.



2. Roll out the pastry and place ham and cheese in the center ๐Ÿ”ฒ.



3. Cut strips on both sides of the filling diagonally ๐Ÿ”ช.



4. Fold the strips over the filling, alternating sides for the braid look ๐Ÿ”„.



5. Brush with egg wash ๐Ÿฅš and bake for 20–25 minutes.



6. Garnish with parsley when cooled a bit ๐ŸŒฟ.
