Traditional Crispy Chicken Strips

 









Ingredients:


500g (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into strips


2–3 egg yolks (or whole eggs)


1 cup all-purpose flour


1½ cups breadcrumbs (panko works great)


1 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp paprika


½ tsp black pepper


1 tsp salt


Oil for frying



Instructions:


1. Marinate: Mix chicken strips with egg yolks, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let sit for 10–15 minutes.



2. Coat: Dredge each strip in flour, then back into beaten egg (optional), then coat with breadcrumbs.



3. Fry: Heat oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through.



4. Drain: Place on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.



5. Serve: Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.

Low-Carb / Keto Chicken Strips


Ingredients:


500g (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into strips


2–3 egg yolks or whole eggs


¾ cup almond flour


¾ cup crushed pork rinds (or grated parmesan)


1 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp smoked paprika


½ tsp salt and pepper


Avocado oil or olive oil for frying or baking



Instructions:


1. Prep: Beat egg yolks and mix with chicken strips, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.



2. Coat: Combine almond flour and crushed pork rinds. Dredge each strip in the mixture.



3. Cook:


Pan-Fry: Fry in avocado oil until crispy and golden.


Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.


Air Fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.




4. Serve: Perfect with sugar-free ketchup or spicy mayo.
