Classic Homemade Bread

 









Ingredients:

๐Ÿฅ› 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)

๐Ÿ’ฆ 1/2 cup warm water (110°F/45°C)

๐Ÿฏ 2 tbsp honey (or sugar-free alternative)

๐Ÿž 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast

๐ŸŒพ 4 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour)

๐Ÿง‚ 1 1/2 tsp salt

๐Ÿงˆ 2 tbsp butter, melted


Instructions:

1️⃣ In a bowl, mix warm milk, water, honey, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

2️⃣ Add flour and salt, then mix until a dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth.

3️⃣ Cover and let it rise for 1 hour (or until doubled in size). ⏳

4️⃣ Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place in a greased pan.

5️⃣ Cover and let it rise again for 30 minutes.

6️⃣ Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

7️⃣ Brush with melted butter and let it cool.
