๐Ÿซ No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Layer Cake

With Creamy Filling and Nutty Chocolate Topping

๐Ÿงพ Ingredients:

For the Layers:

  • 2 packs plain tea biscuits (like Marie or Petit Beurre)

For the Cream Filling:

  • 500 ml (2 cups) milk
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) butter

For the Chocolate-Nut Topping:

  • 200 g (7 oz) chocolate (dark or milk)
  • 100 ml (½ cup) cream
  • 50 g (1.7 oz) chopped nuts (hazelnuts or peanuts)
  • 1 tbsp butter

๐Ÿฅ„ Directions:

  1. Prepare the Cream Filling:

    • In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar, flour, cornstarch, and egg.
    • Stir constantly over medium heat until thick.
    • Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter. Mix until smooth.
    • Let it cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Layers:

    • In a glass dish, start with a layer of biscuits.
    • Add a layer of cream filling.
    • Repeat layers, ending with cream on top.
  3. Make the Chocolate Topping:

    • In a small pan, heat cream and butter until hot (do not boil).
    • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted.
    • Add chopped nuts and mix.
  4. Finish the Cake:

    • Pour chocolate-nut topping over the final cream layer.
    • Spread evenly. Chill for 3–4 hours or overnight.
