Here's a simple and tasty Potato Rolls with Chicken recipe:

Ingredients:

For the potato dough:

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (plain, no butter or milk)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (adjust as needed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the chicken filling:

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or finely chopped)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A little oil for sautéing

Optional for coating:

  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Bread crumbs

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling:

    • Heat oil in a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
    • Add chicken, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Let it cool.
  2. Make the Dough:

    • Mix mashed potatoes, egg, flour, salt, and pepper into a smooth dough. Add more flour if too sticky.
  3. Form the Rolls:

    • Take a small portion of dough, flatten it in your hand.
    • Place a spoon of filling in the center and seal it into a roll or oval shape.
  4. Optional Coating:

    • Dip each roll in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Cook:

    • Pan-fry in a little oil until golden brown, or bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 20 minutes, flipping once.
  6. Serve:

    • Serve hot with ketchup, garlic sauce, or yogurt dip.
