MARINATED FETA CHEESE CUBES


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 BLOCK FETA CHEESE (ABOUT 8 OZ)
  • 1/2 CUP OLIVE OIL (EXTRA VIRGIN)
  • 1 TSP DRIED OREGANO
  • 1/2 TSP CHILI FLAKES (optional for heat)
  • 1 TSP DRIED BASIL OR THYME
  • 2 CLOVES GARLIC (MINCED OR SLICED)
  • FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
  • (OPTIONAL: SLICED OLIVES, SUN-DRIED TOMATOES, OR LEMON ZEST)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. CUT FETA INTO CUBES (about 1-inch pieces).
  2. PLACE IN A BOWL OR JAR.
  3. ADD GARLIC, HERBS, AND CHILI FLAKES.
  4. POUR OLIVE OIL OVER THE CHEESE UNTIL FULLY COVERED.
  5. GENTLY STIR TO COAT.
  6. COVER AND REFRIGERATE FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS, OR OVERNIGHT FOR BEST FLAVOR.

TO SERVE

  • ENJOY WITH CRACKERS, BREAD, OR SALADS.
  • STORE IN THE FRIDGE FOR UP TO 1 WEEK.
