MARINATED FETA CHEESE CUBES
INGREDIENTS
- 1 BLOCK FETA CHEESE (ABOUT 8 OZ)
- 1/2 CUP OLIVE OIL (EXTRA VIRGIN)
- 1 TSP DRIED OREGANO
- 1/2 TSP CHILI FLAKES (optional for heat)
- 1 TSP DRIED BASIL OR THYME
- 2 CLOVES GARLIC (MINCED OR SLICED)
- FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
- (OPTIONAL: SLICED OLIVES, SUN-DRIED TOMATOES, OR LEMON ZEST)
INSTRUCTIONS
- CUT FETA INTO CUBES (about 1-inch pieces).
- PLACE IN A BOWL OR JAR.
- ADD GARLIC, HERBS, AND CHILI FLAKES.
- POUR OLIVE OIL OVER THE CHEESE UNTIL FULLY COVERED.
- GENTLY STIR TO COAT.
- COVER AND REFRIGERATE FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS, OR OVERNIGHT FOR BEST FLAVOR.
TO SERVE
- ENJOY WITH CRACKERS, BREAD, OR SALADS.
- STORE IN THE FRIDGE FOR UP TO 1 WEEK.
