Here’s a mouthwatering recipe for Crispy Country Fried Pork Chops that’ll have you coming back for seconds:

πŸ–✨ Crispy Country Fried Pork Chops ✨🍽️

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1/2–3/4 inch thick)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch (extra crispy!)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Soak the Chops:
In a bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add pork chops, cover, and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour (overnight for max flavor!).

  2. Prepare the Coating:
In a shallow dish, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  3. Dredge & Rest:
Remove chops from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture, pressing to adhere. Place on a wire rack and let sit 10–15 minutes (helps the crust stick better).

  4. Fry ‘Em Up:
Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering (350°F/175°C). Fry pork chops 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 145°F/63°C).

  5. Rest & Serve:
Let rest on a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack. Serve with mashed potatoes, gravy, or a side of greens!
